Inspiration: It's the most wonderful time of the year

No matter how hard I try, I will never be able to shut up about how much I love Christmas and the holiday season. It's not even about the presents, honestly. That feeling in the air, the cheer, the warmth and coziness. I love everything about it. To spread that holiday cheer -and to compensate for having to wait three more weeks to begin decorating- I have put together these pretty photographs.

As much as I enjoy the loose and quick sketching style for a little bit, I always go back to my detailed and more photo-realistic style. It is the one that has come most naturally for a very long time.

I have a silly one for you today. Why this illustration? because, who doesn't want to see Ryan Gosling dressed as a captain? Exactly. So, this is my contribution to society. You are welcome.

the actual story behind this illustration in that I had to resign Pan Am's pilot uniform for a class and Ryan Gosling became the captain on a dare from one of my classmates.
